The National Recruitment Agency, which is mandated to conduct online reviews for central government recruitments, has urged people to beware of bogus websites offering jobs in its name.
Some fake advertisements offering vacancies through recruitment exams for or by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) have been found to be posted on websites/YouTube videos on the internet (e.g. fake website nragovt.online), the NRA said in a public notice released Tuesday.
“It is hereby clarified that these websites are completely bogus and bogus. Appropriate measures in this regard are being taken in accordance with the law,” he said.
The NRA has yet to launch its official website, the notice says.
Applicants/candidates/aspirants and the general public are therefore advised to stay away from such types of fake advertisements/websites/videos, he said.
The NRA has been tasked to conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to screen/screen candidates for public sector jobs for which recruitment is currently carried out by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), recruitment boards of Railways (RRB) and the Institute of Banking Staff. Selection (IBPS).
